Located in the town of Saint-Symphorien-de-Thénières, Lake Saint-Gervais is the ideal place for a family day out. Nestled in the heart of the wild landscapes of Aveyron, the Sarrans lake is a real gem for fishing enthusiasts. With an area exceeding 1000 hectares and an impressive length of 35 km, it ranks among the eight largest artificial lakes in France. Encased in the majestic Gorges of the Truyere, this lake offers an exceptional setting for the practice of fishing, particularly that of carnivores. For swimming enthusiasts, the Laussac peninsula is a true haven of coolness in summer, with its supervised beach. But the Sarrans lake is not limited to fishing and swimming. Hikers will be delighted by the numerous trails that run through the surrounding area, such as the boucle of 14,8 km from Thérondels. Also called Lake Maury,  Selves lake is a vast V-shaped reservoir located in the communes of Saint-Amans-des-Côts, Florentin La Capelle and Montpeyroux. Extending over an area of 167 hectares, this lake offers an ideal setting for boating enthusiasts, who can explore its waters over an impressive extent.
