Description

Fishing can be practiced all year round (2nd fish category).

– Dam located on the Aubrac plateau fed by the Selvet, altitude 820 m.

– Maximum depth 15 m 

– Area 50 ha

Fish: perch, zander, catfish, pike, roach, rudd, bream, carp.  

Night fishing between the mouth of La Selves and the navigation zone markers.

– Plain lake with gently sloping banks, numerous sandy beaches and uncrowded bottoms

– There are numerous and very easy access points

– Launching large boats very difficult because there is no specific arrangement

– The upstream half of the lake is not navigable

– The predators present are perch, zander and pike

– The perch density is high and the average size is around 20 cm (very few fish exceeding 30 cm)

– Zander is also present with an average size of 40 cm (few large fish)

– The pike, on the other hand, is very rare but can reach good sizes (around a meter regularly)
