Your itinerary
Step 1
Go to Place de Monaco in the city center. Continue along rue de la Parro and route d'Aurillac.
Step 2
Join the D900 (direction Aurillac), which becomes D600 on entering Cantal and reach Raulhac, then Carlat via the D990.
Step 3
At km 27.5: after crossing Carlat, in the big curve to the left, leave the D990 just after crossing the stream to follow the direction of Caizac, on the right. Then go up the small road that crosses Caizac and Espeils to come out on the D57 at La Gourgue / Maison Neuve.
Step 4
At km 34: turn right and stay on the D57 towards Jou-sous-Monjou. Cross Vixe and stay towards Jou-sous-Monjou.
Step 5
Leave the D57 to take the small road that goes up to the north towards Prax/Pradevin. The small road rises to finally reach the Col de Curebourse.
Step 6
At Km 43.7: turn right on the D54 towards Saint-Clément, then shortly after take the D154 on the left, at a place called Le Bouygou. Cross La Croux then reach Saint-Clément. Just before the church, turn right towards Goulaize. Keep to the right, under Goulaize, pass Les Garrigues and arrive at La Roque.
Step 7
At the intersection under La Roque, turn right to come out a little lower on the intersection with a wider road at a bend.
Step 8
At km 53: turn left, then at the next fork, continue right on the D59 towards Raulhac. Cross Jou-sous-Monjou and just after, stay on the D59 to reach Raulhac.
Step 9
In Raulhac, turn left on the D990 towards Saint-Flour/Pierrefort.
Step 10
At km 63.1: at the junction with the D163, turn right towards Brommes. Cross the village and continue on the D79 to come out at Côte Blanche, under Mur-de-Barrez.
Step 11
Turn left towards Mur-de-Barrez.
Step 12
Leave the departmental road by turning right then immediately left to reach the city center directly.
