Your itinerary
Step 1
From Mur-de-Barrez, from Place du Foirail, turn left into Rue du Faubourg to go down to the center of the town.
Facing the Monaco tower, turn right then immediately left towards the Blanchisserie Carladez to go down under the car park. Just below, take rue du Théron on the left, (Vétérinaire, …) to reach the crossroads with the D900 which we take on the left in the direction of Aurillac.
Step 2
At km 9.8: after Raulhac, leave the D990 and follow the D59 towards Vic-sur-Cère.
Step 3
At the Col de Curebourse, turn right (D59) and reach Thiézac.
Step 4
Cross the N122, cross the Cère to enter the village, cross it and join the N122 again.
Step 5
Turn left towards Murat on the N122.
Step 6
On leaving St-Jacques-des-Blats, take the D317 on the left towards Mandailles/Puy Mary.
Step 7
At Km 43.7: after the descent from the Col du Pertus, enter Mandailles and turn right on the D17 to begin the ascent of the Pas-de-Peyrol.
Step 8
At Pas-de-Peyrol (Puy Mary), turn right on the D680 towards Murat/Allanche.
Step 9
On leaving Dienne, stay on the D680 to the right at the fork.
Step 10
At the T-intersection with the D3, turn right and stay on the D3 until Murat and the intersection with the N122.
Step 11
Cross the N122 and continue on the D39 towards Albepierre. Climb to the Col de Prat-de-Bouc and descend the southern slope. After the hamlet of La Sagnette, stay on the D39 to the right towards Cézens/Pierrefort.
Step 12
Turn right, still on the D39 towards Brezons, pass the Col de la Griffoul and the hamlet of Lustrande.
Step 13
At Km 105.7: at the intersection with the D57 (Saint Hilaire), turn right towards Lacapelle-Barrès/Aurillac. Cross Vigouroux a little further on and reach Pont-la-Vieille on the D990 which you take to the right, in the direction of Aurillac/Lacapelle-Barrès.
Step 14
Just after Pont-la-Vieille, leave the D990 by the D79 on the left, in the direction of Mur-de-Barrez and Brommes, which you cross a little lower in the valley, before going up to Mur-de-Barrez .
