Your itinerary
Step 1
Departure from Mur-de-Barrez, from Place du Foirail, turn left into Rue du Faubourg to go down to the center of the town.
Facing the Monaco tower, turn right then immediately left towards the Carladez laundry to go down under the car park. Just below, then rue du Théron on the left, (direction Vétérinaire, …) to reach the crossroads with the D900, on the left in the direction of Aurillac.
Step 2
Turn right on the D79 towards Brommes. Cross the village and stay on the D79 towards Thérondels until you reach Douzalbats.
Step 3
Leave the D79 and take the small road on the left towards Frons and Thérondels. After Frons, join the D18.
Step 4
Turn right and enter Thérondels. Stay on the D18 and turn right towards Brommat. Head towards Mur-de-Barrez and, after the roundabout, cross the bridge over the Bromme.
Step 5
In Brommat, just after the bridge, turn left on the D98 towards Lacroix-Barrez/La Vayssade.
Step 6
At the crossroads with the D904, follow left in the direction of Lacroix-Barrez.
Step 7
At the Church of Lacroix-Barrez, turn right to enter the village, then left at the stop sign. Follow the D505 to reach Murols, and continue the descent until you cross the Goul bridge, before going up north on the D228.
Step 8
At Km 50.9: at the intersection at the Montlogis exit, leave the D228 and continue straight on the small road.
Step 9
At Km 53.6: at the crossroads of the D128 and the D28, at the Croix de Coupiac, turn right towards Leucamp/Teissières-les-Bouliès. Follow the D28 to the T-junction with the D32, turn left, cross Grignac and continue to La Joyeuse.
Step 10
Km 66: at the fork, turn right on the D8 towards Labrousse.
Step 11
Km 69.5: at the crossroads with the D6, go right to cross Labrousse.
Step 12
Km 71.8: on leaving Labrousse, continue on the D6 which heads left towards Mur-de-Barrez/Bazaigues. Long descent in the Goul valley then ascent to Taussac on the D13 after Bazaigues.
Step 13
Km 90.5: at the intersection with the D904, turn left to return to Mur-de-Barrez
