Your itinerary
Step 1
From the Relais des Lacs, go down the road to the right and leave it just after the bend for the wide gravel path rising gently to the left towards the Rajas. Go down then go up the valley of the Rajas by the dirt road.
Step 2
Cross the fence and continue straight on the grass path along the barbed wire fence (right of the path) towards the barn. Overtake it, continue for 600m. Cross a new fence and follow it along the grassy path going up towards the wood (200m). In the wood, stay in the enclosure and go down to the right along it.
Step 3
Leave the enclosure to reach a wide gravel path descending slightly towards the Croix de la Rode (200m). Go past the cross and follow the road for 3,5 km. Leave it on the left in the bend (buron at the top of the hill on the left), continue in the field following the track going slightly to the right. Continue on a balcony ignoring the paths coming from the top of the hill. Continue in the wood and join the secondary road on the right.
Step 4
Follow the secondary road to the left for 50m to take the small dirt road on the right that goes into the forest. Go down to the clearing and cross it straight. Go up in the woods on a wider and flatter path, follow it until the intersection with a wide gravel track.
Step 5
Cross the track to continue on the dirt road. In the clearing, briefly return to the track (50m), then take the small grass path heading left. At the intersection in the bend of the gravel track, continue straight and leave the forest on the wide gravel path. Descend 2km on this ridge path. The path becomes paved, take it for 50m then rush right into the small path descending to a road. Go right on the road going up slightly then go down in the village by the small road on the left 150m further.
Step 6
Go straight down into the village and leave it by the path on the right going down through a meadow, then continuing in a wood on a stony path to the farms. There, continue the descent along the path on the left until you reach the main road. Cross the departmental road, pass the cemetery and go down to the bridge. Cross it and climb through Saint-Chély-d'Aubrac to reach the parking lot opposite the hotel-restaurant and finish the stage.
