Your itinerary
Step 1
Departure from Mur-de-Barrez: from Place de la Corette, turn left into Rue du Faubourg to go down to the center of the town. Arrive opposite the Monaco tower, turn right then immediately left towards rue du Théron (direction Vétérinaire, …)
Step 2
Reach the crossroads with the D900 which you take to the left towards Aurillac.
Step 3
At a place called Côte Blanche, turn right on the D575 towards the village of Nigresserre. Continue on the D575, you will begin the climb.
Step 4
At Km 6.9: at the next intersection, leave the D575 to follow the small road to the right, towards Sinhalaguet.
Step 5
Going up to the exit of Sinhalaguet, at the crossroads of 4 small roads, turn left and walk along the property lined with cedars. The asphalt stops momentarily to give way to a wide rolling path. Join the asphalt at Lugol's farm to then find the D575 at Sinhalac.
Note: partially unpaved road between 6 and 7.
Step 6
Turn right to reach Nigresserre (and its majestic lime tree) then Ladinhac.
Step 7
Km 13.6: In Ladinhac, at the intersection at the level of the cross, turn left towards Douzalbats (Doux Albats). Cross the village and continue to the intersection with the D79.
Step 8
After Douzalbats, turn right towards Thérondels, cross Frons and join the D18.
Step 9
Turn right and continue to Thérondels.
Step 10
Km 21.2: In Thérondels, follow the direction of Sainte-Geneviève / Sarrans dam (D139). Cross Pervilhergues then Jou, before beginning the descent.
Step 11
At the next crossing, turn left on the D98, do not go towards the Laussac peninsula, but turn right to walk along the banks of the dam in the direction of Brommat.
Step 12
Then go up to the right on the D166 (then D 98) to Brommat via Albinhac.
Step 13
Turn left and go up to Mur-de-Barrez via the D900.
