Description

Once the GR®65 has been taken backwards from Aubrac, this circuit then goes around the Puy de la Gudette volcano to embrace the Boralde de la Poujade covered in its beech forest. After that, the route takes summer pastures up to the keel of Goutals to finally reach the valley of the glacial melting pot where Saint-Urcize nests.

This hike can be done roaming between the three starting points of the Haut-plateau: Nasbinals / Aubrac / Saint-Urcize. Allow two to three days to cover the whole of Aubrac to the heart.
