Notre Dame de la Sentinelle
This circuit departing from Nasbinals will take you via pretty drailles, – paths lined with stone walls for the passage of animals, to the top of Notre-Dame de la Sentinelle from where the 360° panorama goes from the Monts du Cantal to the Monts d'Aubrac. It will take you back to Nasbinals via a section of the legendary GR® 65, the path to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.

Description
Leaving the tourist office [> Maison Charrier], go up, going around [> the apse of the church (11th – 14th century)]. Pass in front of the bakery.
Take the 1st street on the right then right again after the “L’Occitan” bar. At the T-junction, turn left and go up towards “La Rosée du Matin”.
At the access to a beautiful housing estate and the “La Rosée du Matin” car park, take the path on the left. Ignore the path which goes left and continue opposite. At the next crow's foot, turn left and reach road D 12. Cross it (> be careful!) and continue opposite the path which runs alongside the campsite.
At the next crossroads, turn right onto the path which climbs through the undergrowth, ignoring the trailheads on the left and right. The slope straightens out and the path is laid out as stairs.
Notre-Dame de la Sentinelle (alt. 1 m) [> monumental cross, statue of the Virgin, orientation table: vast panorama of the Monts du Cantal, the Margeride chain, Mont Lozère and the Monts d' Aubrac.], go back down the same path to the crossroads.
At the crossroads, turn right onto the path which leads to Mas de Taly, the tarmac access path of which joins a small road.
Take it to the right for about a hundred meters then turn left at an acute angle. Follow this path until you reach a wide track, ignoring all trailheads on the right and left.
At the crossroads (junction with the Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, GR ® 65, white-red markings), turn left. At the next crossroads, turn left onto the path that goes down to Coustat. Take road D 987 and follow it on the left towards Nasbinals. Follow the D 987 which goes around the church and return to the starting point.
