Description

From the church square, cross to turn left into rue du Coulas, then turn right into rue de la Commanderie. At the Intermarché store: turn right; cross the road then cross the bridge and turn left.
Take immediately left onto Chemin des Vignes Rouges. At the Hôtel des 2 Rives, turn right, take rue du Barrynalt
Before the “speed bump” sign, turn right; go up the valley, keeping to the left. At the crossroads of 4 paths, turn right; to go up. At the enclosure, turn left
At the houses (red-orange), take the first dirt road, on the left; continue straight then go down. Keep the wide path in the forest which will soon skirt the long, deep valley. At the crossroads of 3 paths, continue left. At the road, turn left
At the crossroads, ignore “Auxillac” and “Cadoule”; below, take the left path. Arrive at the hamlet of Paulhac: walk along the 2 houses, keep left, then follow the wide path. At the road, take the track on the left to the hamlet Le Roucat, then go down the road
Reach the hamlet of Montferrand; go back and forth to the viewpoint, then cross the hamlet. Return to Banassac by the 1st road on the right after the last house, then on the right on the road. At the intersection, turn left and follow the small road that runs along the river. Follow the chemin de La Capelade then the rue du Barrynalt.
Opposite the Hotel des 2 Rives, cross the avenue, pass in front of the picnic area then take the footbridge of the roundabout. [Possibility to take the path of the red vines as on the outward journey.] Continue straight on then turn left into rue Léon Vizier, cross the small bridge and straight on into rue du Mazet. Arrive at the place of the Saint-Médard church.
