les Pessoles
A family walk through the old vines, the wooded slopes of the "Puech del Rey" then along the Mardonenq stream
Route details
Description
At the exit of the Cloister, turn left into the rue de l'Hôtel de Ville, cross the Lot on the Pont Vieux. Turn right and take rue de la Poujade on the left.
Pass in front of the Saint Antoine chapel then take the path which goes up to the left. Cross the small road and continue along the path straight ahead. the path runs alongside old vines or strawberry fields, before entering the undergrowth. It becomes more boxed in. Follow the direction of Chapelle d'Aurelle.
Arriving at “Batut”, at the restored communal oven, turn right to go down the road and join the CD 503 (Verlac road). Cross it and take the path that goes down, just opposite to soon reach “les Pessoles”
“Aux Pessoles”, take the small bridge which spans the stream. Turn right to leave the hamlet and continue along the road following the course of the stream until the crossroads of the D 95 (route de naves)
Continue straight ahead towards the St Pierre factory”. Take the bridge which spans the “Mardonenq” and continue on the road to the Chapel of Notre Dame des Buis. At the crossroads, turn left and follow the road which runs along the Lot to the Pont Vieux.
