Explore the paths of the Aubrac high plateau with some passages in the forest
Route details
Description
From the church square, take the stony path opposite which leads to the mountain pastures.
At the crossroads, turn right and continue the path straight on until you reach the national forest (off the circuit: on the right, viewpoint over the immensity of the Aubrac plateaus, towards the Buron de Catau).
Turn left, and follow the limit of the mountain pastures and the softwood forest.
Take the forest path on the right which goes down into the beech trees, after the ru cross the pine wood to come out on a meadow which you cross, to join a path, which you take on the left. At the next crossroads turn right to reach “les Fajoux”. Cross the village (beautiful traditional houses) and at the exit take an old draille on the left until you reach the tarmac road, which you take on the right for 100 meters.
At the crow's feet, turn left onto the road towards Escoudournats. Before the cross, turn left onto the wide path and continue straight on to return to La Trinitat.
