Le Puech de Barry
An ascent from the Castelnau-Lassouts lake to the panorama of the basaltic Puech de Barry (A volcano in the middle of the limestone)

Description
Go down the main street of the village to the castle then turn left onto the road which goes down to the lake. Pass the buildings of the Alauzet nautical base and take the path that goes up on the left.
At the agricultural buildings, continue straight on the road to join the D141. Turn left along the D141 for 100m then go up the small road on the right. At the crossroads continue to climb on the left until you reach a junction.
Take the path on the left towards Puech de Barry, continue to the top. At the top, begin the descent opposite via the path until you reach a road suitable for vehicles.
Turn right and stay on this path until you reach a small road. Turn left on this road to reach the starting point in Mandailles.
