Your itinerary
Step 1
From the Château de la Baume, go down the road and cross the hairpin at the 1st intersection on the right. Go over the bridge and up the road. Ignore the road going towards Masseloup and in the next bend, make a short gap (300m) by the path in the wood on the left. Take the road on the left and follow it for 100m.
Step 2
Take the path rising to the right. Cross the village of Gibertès by the road descending to the left, follow it for 1km. Turn right on the gravel path heading towards the wood. Climb into the forest, then descend gently for 300m.
Step 3
Leave the gravel path for a narrower path rising slightly to the left. Continue on this forest path and at the exit of the wood continue straight to arrive at the hamlet of Chantegrenouille. Cross it and go down the road to the bridge. Cross it and 30m further on turn left onto a gravel path.
Step 4
Cross the departmental road and continue on the road going up to Saint-Laurent-de-Muret. Go up into the village, passing the church, reach the municipal school on the right. At the school intersection, go down 100m on the road on the left and leave it for the dirt path going down to the left. Cross the pastures on this path for 4,5km, ignoring the paths going to the left.
Step 5
At the intersection marked with a cross and the village of La Blatte in sight, descend in its direction. Rejoin the road, cross the hamlet and descend on a dirt road to the stone bridge on the left. Take it and continue on the gravel track rising gently in the undergrowth. Take the hairpin on the right, the track becomes less and less passable.
Step 6
Ignore the path going to the left and gradually leave the wood by the path on the right (cross the fence). 100m further on, leave the wide path and take the small steep path going up to the left. Continue on the path along the wood in the pastures.
Step 7
Leave the enclosure and follow the track (fine gravel) on the right towards Bonnecombe/les Rajas. After 300m, join the GR60 on a wider track, take it to the right (climbs slightly). Follow it for 2km, ignoring the crossing paths. At the piste map, continue on the piste on the right. Leave the woods 600m further and join the Relais des Lacs to finish the stage.
