Description

1. From the parking lot of the sports complex, go up on the D809 and turn left in the direction of Chirac. 2. Start crossing the village then turn right towards Fabrèges / Altayrac. Pass under the railway line and continue straight. Leave a road that goes up to the right towards fabrèges / Altayrac and continue straight towards Les Violles.3. Shortly after passing under the A75 viaduct, take a track to the right with a rising profile. The slope is steep for a little while and then softens. At the crow's feet, take the track to the right and reach the village of Fabrèges. Cross the village and continue on a small road towards Alteyrac. In the village, take a road on the left which then turns into a track and climbs steeply. 4. Turn a little further to the right on a concrete track with a high percentage and continue to climb, staying on this main track. At a goose leg, take the track to the left, the slope then becomes gentler. At the crossroads of a wide track, turn right and continue straight until you reach a small plateau where the view is clear over the valley.5. At the crossroads of several tracks, take the track to the left, then, a little further, to the left again. Then take the first path on the right which goes up through the forest. 6. Join a wide track and take it to the left.15. 2kms further on, at the "croix du loup" level, turn left on a track then, 100m further on, take a small path on the right.7. After a beautiful descent, at the crossroads of a road and 2 tracks, take the track on the left (GR670).8. After crossing the A75 on a small bridge, leave the GR670 which descends into the village and continue left on the small road to reach the houses on the heights of Chirac. Go down into the village respecting the highway code to reach the railway bridge. Turn right and continue to the D809. Turn left and continue to the junction for the Chirac sports complex.
