Description

Except for the short ramp from Chaudes-Aigues to reach the plateau, the circuit does not present any major difficulty. Before Albinet, you can see the Truyère valley on the right with the Monts du Cantal in the background. Then, head due south towards Aubrac Cantalien, towards Requistat and as far as Saint-Urcize, a village of character with medieval accents and whose church is a jewel of Auvergnat Romanesque Art. Return following the Bès, natural border between Cantal and Lozère. At first glacial, the valley, after Anterrieux, cuts in deep gorges that we discover at the same time as the ruins of the castle of Arzenc-d'Apcher on the small road that leads to Maurines.
