Autour du Mazet – VTT n°11

1. From the car park located at the entrance to the Vimenet subdivision, return to the Montrodat road and turn left on the road to descend towards the Mazet. 2. In the bend at the bottom of the descent, take the small path on the right which joins the village of Mazet. 3. Turn right on the D999 and, 200m further on, turn right again on a track to bypass the farm. 4. Return to the D999 and cross the road to take a long track which rejoins the D999 4kms further on.5. Turn right, then left on the D101 towards Rieutort de Randon 6. Then continue on the D1 n towards Baraque de la Grange / Servières / Rieutort de Randon and 100m further on, take a track on the right which runs along a meadow and continues through the woods to a cross located on a small road. 7. At the intersection, turn right onto the road and take the first track on the left. It returns to the road that leads to the Château de Cougoussac. 8. Leave the castle on the left and continue on the track. At the next crossroads, turn right. At the second, take the 2nd path on the right, a little narrow, in the middle of the fir trees. 9. Cross the D1 and continue on the track. Once past the barrier, go down in the middle of the woods and go up opposite on the plateau. 10. At the intersection of several tracks, turn left and return to the starting point.
