The Benoit l'Artisan Cutlery was created in 1999 by Benoit Mijoule, Master Craftsman in Artistic Crafts and finalist in the "one of the best workers in France" competition in 2011.

Benoit Mijoule, Master Artisan Cutler, is passionate about his profession.
Its ambition is to create a dynamic and modern company. He does everything possible to imagine and create what will set him apart.
From the forging of exceptional damascus and raw forge blades, through guilloché work, to the shaping of the handle, all models are made by Benoit and his team throughout the year in his workshop in Laguiole ( Aveyron, Aubrac)

Creative knife maker, Benoit and his team, attached to the Aubrac region and especially to Laguiole, are keen to work with respect for traditions and materials while creating contemporary models. After a visit to the workshop (Place du Toural), you can discover the boutique (Allée de l'Amicale) in a warm atmosphere. The Benoit l'Artisan boutique will offer you a modern environment, particularly with its range of Laguiole Tribal. A model that revisits the lines of Laguiole with a refined and contemporary design. A modernity also highlighted by different materials, such as numerous exotic woods, carbon fiber, warthog ivory, fossil materials...
