Belvédère du barrage de Sarrans

The former local watchtower of the EDF dam at Sarrans has been converted into an open-air information space. Its belvedere offers an exceptional view of the structure which remains the symbol of the industrial and human epic represented by the construction of these large dams on the valley.

Information panels explain how it works, its history and its environment (Natura 2000 area). Settle down on one of the picnic tables and enjoy this stopover.
