A thousand years of traces in Aubrac: from the life of the peasants in the XNUMXth century, the mills, the maquis, to the last princes of the forest: the stags.

Through trophies and molts, photos, detailed comments, you can discover the life of deer, throughout the seasons, on the Aubrac Plateau. Introduced 40 years ago, the deer has become the king of the Enguilhens forest.

Then going back in time, we will see how young people refused to leave to work in Germany during the Second World War.

Then, the result of a recent discovery on the mountain of Enguilhens, an XNUMXth century farmhouse, a unique site in Europe, was reconstructed through a model and an exhibition of objects found on the site.

And finally, enter the old sacristy built on the Romanesque remains of the first church of Condom attested from 1232 to follow the evolution of the parishes until the creation of the communes.
