VTT Carladez : Le village templier de Nigresserre

This walk on the volcanic plateau between the Bromme and Siniq rivers invites you on a journey into the past. And what a past! That of the Order of the Temple which had made Nigresserre the seat of a commandery, before the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem took over from them.

POINTS OF INTEREST:

– Wide open spaces and views of the Monts du Cantal.

– Nigresserre: its church (15th century), its fountain, the Sully lime tree.

– Douzalbats: its chapel (16th century), the Ailes du Carladez-ULM flying club aviation camp (Bernard Boussagol 06 11 81 88 50)
