Your itinerary
Step 1
From Mur-de-Barrez at Place du Foirail, turn right towards the south, rue de la Briqueterie, to reach a first intersection. Turn right, then follow the direction of Lacroix-Barrez on the D904 at the next crossroads.
Step 2
On leaving Lacroix-Barrez, take the D97 on the left, down to Valon, a remarkable site, then reach Saint-Amans-des-Côts by crossing the Truyère before going back up to Montézic.
Step 3
At the crossroads in Saint-Amans, continue straight on the D97 towards Estaing via Le Nayrac.
Step 4
At Km 38: On leaving Le Nayrac, after the small body of water on the left, stay on the D97. The road makes a gentle "S" before reaching a crossroads of small side roads. Ignore this crossroads but take the next small road on the left, at the entrance of which there is a sign prohibiting vehicles over 9 tonnes and another indicating a car test base. Pass the Galouze farm then, further down at the intersection, keep left on this road which soon joins the first houses of Estaing and the D97.
Step 5
At the edge of the Lot, turn right on the D920 towards Aurillac and drive to Entraygues.
Step 6
Cross Entraygues until you find the bridge with 4 arches. take it to go up the left bank of Truyère towards Mur-de-Barrez.
Step 7
In Couesques, turn right after the Goul bridge to go up towards Isaguette. At the crossroads, turn left to join the D904, then right on it. Continue to Mur-de-Barrez.
