Le rocher du Cher

Granite still accompanies the landscape: it is not yet bare Aubrac, but that of meadows, woods and quiet hamlets. Rise here and there "blocks" and "chaos" of motionless witness stones of ancient glaciers or even of legends or beliefs. Here, the Rocher du Cher, a volcanic peak, bears witness to an old fortress of the barony of Peyre.
