Step 1
From the center of the village of Saint-Rémy, take the street that runs along the Town Hall. At the last houses in the village, turn right onto the path that leads to Bergounhous. Arrived at the house in a place called Bergounhous, take the wide path on the left for 80 m then the 1st on the right.
Step 2
Possibility of a round trip (20 minutes) by taking the path on the right to climb to the oratory of Montpeyroux, to admire the view (alt.: 997 m). This oratory stands on the site of an old XNUMXth century castle. Today stands a modern chapel, dedicated to Our Lady, supporting a stone statue three meters high! retrace your steps then take the path on the right. At the intersection, follow the grassy path and cross the Magagnou stream to reach Lindières.
Step 3
At Lindières turn left, pass in front of the Giscard farm and continue straight towards the Bois de Baniou, continue on the footpath between the wood and the fence. At the very top, continue to the left and descend towards the Magagnou stream which must be crossed on a wooden footbridge. Continue straight ahead to reach Le Bousquet.
Step 4
Pass in front of the drinking troughs and by a small grassy path, climb up to the church. Bypass the church on the left and take a sloping lane straight ahead. Turn right and go down a narrow path which leads to the entrance to the castle located along the D 42. At the D 42, turn left and follow the road for 300 m, towards Saint-Rémy. 5- Just before the cemetery, turn left on the paved and shady path which leads to Pinsonnac. Pass between the houses and continue straight for 150 m after the last house. Take a dirt road on the left then turn left again to go around the Puech de Couyaules (passing through a moor) and reach the starting point and the village of Saint-Rémy.
