Le Château de la Baume – VTT n°B

1. From the parking lot of the lake, take the small road that goes into the woods behind the restaurant and continue to the hamlet of La Védrinelle. 2. Turn left and cross the village, leaving the road that goes to the left. Continue straight and, just before the road turns into a track, turn left on a small path to reach a bridge and return to the Ressouches farm by the road. 3. At the entrance to the farm, turn right on the track. Stay on the main track, leave a path that goes to the right, then another to the left and join the D73 road. Turn right on the road and continue following the direction of Chateau de la Baume / Usanges until you reach a small track going to the left; 4. Once past the castle, continue on the small road and about 700m further on, take a track that goes to the right and passes in front of the Baume pond. 5. Then turn right to reach the village of Trémouloux. Cross the village and turn right at the cross to take a small path to the D73 road. 6. Turn left on the road then 100m further on, right towards Fréjoutes / Moulin de Pierrou. Continue on the road and cross the hamlet of Fréjoutes. Leave a first track on the right and take the second, at a crossroads. 7. at the D53, turn right and continue on the road for about 1km and turn right on a wide track with a rising profile. 8. During the descent, take the first track on the right and return to a small road. Turn right to reach the lake car park.
