Le Beaumas
A hilly circuit to discover Caldaguès, one of the wooded parts of Aubrac
Route details
Description
Take the street towards the Church, then right before the farm at the end of the village. Take the sandy path that descends, cross the small bridge before going back up to the small village of Recoules.
Cross the village by taking the paved road, after the village turn left at the level of the cross and follow the path to Beaumas.
In the village take the paved road to the right and follow it to a first crossroads and turn right.
At the big crossroads, turn left for 250 meters, then leave the road and take the path to the right which runs along the meadows, continue straight for 1,5 kilometers.
At the road, turn right to a large crossroads (small picnic area).
Cross the road and take the path opposite. At the next intersection, continue left until Verniols.
In Verniols, go down to the left towards the farm then turn right and follow the path which joins that of the start.
At the crossroads, take the opposite route to the left to reach the start.
