La Tour d'Apcher depuis Civergols – Parcours n°7
Ten kilometers of hilly walking on wide dirt tracks and a few stretches of road, an accessible hike with pretty viewpoints.

Description
From the car park in the heart of Civergols, facing the buildings, turn left onto the main road. Then, at the large red sign of the Lycée Agricole, take the road on the right downhill to an intersection of 4 paths.
At the crossroads go left and join the road. Arriving at the tarmac, continue to the village of Clauzes, cross it. Proceed straight ahead until you reach a wide crossroads with a picnic table on the left. Here, cross the road and continue straight on a wide path.
At the intersection of 4 paths, take the first left. Go straight ahead and reach the village of Apcher.
At the entrance to the village, take the road on the left, pass in front of a fountain on the right then above a car park on the left. Continue straight and follow the red signs to go to the tower.
Once on the medieval site, the chapel on the left and the ruins on the right, continue straight on, on the path opposite downhill. After the left turn, immediately take a hairpin right. Go straight ahead and leave the paths on either side until you reach the road.
At the junction, turn left and reach the center of the village of Prunières.
At the place of June 18, 1940, the memorial on the right hand side, continue opposite. After the cross and the fountain, leave the first road on the left to continue straight and take the second street on the left which goes up towards Place Saint Caprais and the church. /!\ Junction with route No. 1 /!\
From the square, the church and the town hall on the right, take the street on the left. Continue straight on the main road and leave the village.
At the cemetery on the right, leave the road and take the path opposite on the left. After a few steps, at the junction, continue to the right and stay on the main track. Ignore the first path on the right.
At the crossroads of 4 paths – /!\ Junction with hiking trail No. 20 -, continue straight on until the next junction. View of the tower on the left.
At the junction, turn right uphill, then left. Join the road. Turn right and cross carefully to take the path which continues on the left.
At the intersection, turn right and immediately left. Proceed straight ahead, view of Saint Chély d'Apcher. Pass between the equestrian grounds on the left and 2 green agricultural buildings on the right until the next intersection.
At the crossroads, turn left towards Civergols, return to the starting point.
