La Forêt de la Tourre – Parcours n°1
A hike accessible to families, in the heart of the plains and flowery meadows. Very little shade, ideal in the morning or at the end of the day.

Description
From the car park, go down towards the church and turn onto the first street on the right. Cross the village via the main street and go down, ignoring the other markings on the left, to the last buildings. Continue left for more than 1km. Pass under the railway line and reach the hamlet of Cros
In front of the houses, turn right. Follow the road to the right (view of Les Bessons), then straight ahead.
Continue opposite (view of the Fortunio trick, Margeride summit: aerial). Cross the railway line on a stone bridge, then continue left for 200m
Go up a path on the right. Join the deer breeding buildings and go down 50m towards Lile (view of the Rimeize valley).
Go up the first path on the right (view of the Margeride plateau) and continue straight on. Follow a road to the right, then towards Les Bessons. Cross the village, without going down, to find the church.
