Opposite the nautical base, go left to cross a man's passage between 2 sleepers which allows you to reach below a footbridge suspended above the Crueize; cross it. Go back up into the pasture to take the path as close as possible to the lake. Reach a meadow, cross it obliquely to the left to cross a man's passage and take a track due south which leads to a road; follow it on the left until the next path on the right.
Take the path due south to Le Buisson. Arrive in a street in front of an old barn, cross, turn right, then immediately left into the alley that goes down between the houses. Turn right, arrive in front of a large square. Take the street which goes down to the left for 30 m then, at the corner of a house, an alley on the right which arrives at the foot of the school. Take the pedestrian crossing to reach the street on the left, behind the bus shelter, which goes down below the cemetery. Take it for barely 50 m, then turn left onto the tarmac path which runs alongside the stream. Turn right and follow a track that goes up.
Leave it then turn right then left, ignoring 2 paths on the right. Continue on the path due south. It comes out onto the road; follow it to the left for 50 m. Go up to a narrowing between 2 houses, turn right, pass in front of the school (separation with the GR de Pays Tour des Monts d'Aubrac, junction with a variant of this same GR de Pays). Take the tarmac opposite which, soon, gives way to a stony path (separation with the variant of the GR de Pays Tour des Monts d'Aubrac)
Continue on the stony path (round trip possible to the summit of Pic de Mus). Reach the D900; cut it and take the path opposite. At a junction, go up the path, due east, for approximately 1 km.
