La Croix du Pal (variante courte par la Barthe)
A tightrope walk on the ridge between the Monts d'Aubrac and the Causses
Description
From the starting crossroads, cross Les Calmettes and continue until you come back up to a crossroads, taking a track that climbs to the right.
Arrive at the second flat area, turn left into the Chemin des Croix and follow the ridge. Continue on the ridge path passing by the Daoudou cross, then along a wood.
At the intersection, take the forest track which descends to the right to join the Caldeyrac stream.
Take the path on the right which runs alongside the stream until you reach the D56
Take the D56 for 1 km.
Leave the D56 at the electric pole to take the path on the right which leads to the starting point before Calmettes.
