Forge de Laguiole

The FORGE DE LAGUIOLE Company was created to revive the Laguiole knife in its original terroir. The ENTERPRISE DU PATRIMOINE VIVANT label makes it a real reference. Here each model is assembled, adjusted and shaped by hand. Big names interpret the knife for our cutlery: Philippe Starck, Ora Ïto, Andrée Putman, … great chefs like Michel and Sébastien Bras and Anne-Sophie Pic invite it to their table. Forge de Laguiole can be visited in its entirety every day, with a guide during the months of July and August. 4 to 5 guided tours per day in July and August. Average visit duration: 30 minutes. The visits are preceded by an assembly demonstration by a cutler (around 30 min). No visits on Saturdays and Sundays.

Boutique Atelier: Open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 13:30 p.m. to 18 p.m. (except public holidays). In July/August, from 00 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day.

Boutique Centre-ville: Open Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 30 p.m. and from 12 p.m. to 30 p.m. (except public holidays). In July/August, from 14 a.m. to 00 p.m. every day.

Workshops: free visits to the workshops from Monday to Friday, assembly demonstrations for groups (from 20 people) by reservation. In July/August, 5 demonstrations per day at 10:00 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 14:00 p.m., 15:00 p.m. and 16:00 p.m. Guided tours at 10:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 14:30 p.m., 15:30 p.m., 16:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday (except Sundays and public holidays).
