Discovery space dedicated to more than 630 species of wild plants from Aubrac and the natural and historical heritage of the Plateau. For all audiences (individuals, families, groups, schools, disabled people, etc.).
Facing the Sensitive Natural Area "Grande Prairie d'Aubrac", the Botanical Garden presents the wild flora of the Aubrac massif. The plants, all labeled, are shown in their different reconstructed living environments. The Garden allows you to discover peat bog and wetland plants (carnivorous plants, glacial relicts), pastures, rockeries, edges and undergrowth, an experimental cultivation of Aubrac tea as well as a geological embankment. This set is designed as a tool for opening up to knowledge of nature and the multiple interactions between flora, geology, history and current or past economy.
