Route details
Description
The start : Albinhac
A connection between Jongues and Albinhac makes it possible to split the itinerary in two.
It all starts in Albinhac, a village huddled halfway up the slope, sheltered from the valley for better protection from bad weather. From the XNUMXth century Gothic church, a beautiful and rapid descent into the woods takes you to the valley of Grèzes. Further on, between Cassagnes and Jongues, watch out for stones! The challenge will be to stay as long as possible on the bike… After the Endesque valley, Cussagols, then Cussac and its singular contemporary church will punctuate your return.
POINTS OF INTEREST:
– The village of Albinhac conceals houses with typical facades of Carladez, an elegant architecture although monumental. Stone walls: basalt, schist, granite in materials. Slate roofs with several skylights: saddlebacks and "fenestrous"
– Small streams with white water
– Viewpoints over the Gorges de la Truyère and the Lac de Sarrans
All topoguides are available in paper format at the Carladez Tourist Information Office.
