Furnished tourist accommodation
Regulatory framework
The owners-managers of a furnished apartment have the obligation to make a declaration to the town hall as soon as the rental is planned. A receipt is given to you certifying that your furnished accommodation has been declared. The Tourist Office and the Community of Communes Aubrac Carladez and Viadène are notified by the town hall concerned, but we strongly advise you to contact us.
Classification of a furnished
The star rating (from 1 to 5) is not an obligation for owners of furnished accommodation. However, it guarantees a level of comfort and quality demanded by customers looking for accommodation for their stay.
Several organizations are authorized for classification visits.
In partnership with the ADAT 12, thethe Tourist Office can you help prepare your case request for classification, and by coming on site to advise you during a pre-visit upstream of the classification visit by the ADAT 12 (valid for 5 years).

Brand Values Regional Natural Park
This marking was created within the Aubrac regional natural park to enhance the natural and cultural wealth specific to this territory. It is aimed at different types of service providers, once a standard has been validated (currently: Hosting and Thé d'Aubrac standards). Three main values are required: attachment to the territory, a strong human and social dimension, la preservation and environmental enhancement et heritage. A recent initiative, the PNR aims to create a network of professionals attached to Aubrac and respectful of the environment.
Reference® Bed and Breakfast
This qualification concerns only bed and breakfasts, as its name suggests. As this type of accommodation does not have a classification set up by the State, such as furnished accommodation for example, Chambre d'hôtes Référence® allows operators to qualify their offer.
Chambre d'hôtes Référence® highlights the service providers who meet the criteria of the reference system and who have passed a control visit. The validity period is 5 years.
Compostela Welcome Charter
The French Agency of the Ways of Compostela (formerly ACIR), gate
this label which is aimed at the various accommodations located on the Chemins (in Aubrac Aveyronnais between the hamlets of Aubrac and Les Cambrassats on the GR®65). The objectives are: to network, exchange and share, then gain visibility.
At the Tourist Office, we are the local intermediary for this national initiative.
Fishing accommodation
The Aubrac Tourist Office works with the Aveyron Fishing Federation to obtain a network of structures qualified as “Fishing Accommodation” in the territory. This is to identify the localized accommodation within a radius of a fishing spot and who offer specific services for fishing customers.
Friends of the Way of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert
This is not a label, but we encourage accommodation located on the Aveyron part of this GR® de Pays to adhere to this very dynamic association. In particular, it offers a significant visibility on different mediums.
