Lost in the wooded gorges of the Truyere, Via Ferrata of the Bois des Baltuergues offers you sites and unreachable viewpoints by other means. Balancing on the rock walls, go beyond your limits while discovering breathtaking landscapes. A moment of communion with nature and surpassing oneself that you are not ready to forget.
The Baltuergues Wood Via Ferrata
The Bois des Baltuergues Via Ferrata is located on the west bank of the Truyère gorges. It offers you two courses of difficult level and very difficult to discover the gorges like no other. A lifeline and rungs will allow you to move safely on steep walls, without having any particular knowledge of climbing. Cascades and streams line the route in lush greenery. Chills guaranteed when you reach the footbridges and other rope bridges and that, suspended above the void, you will have to show a little courage to reach the other wall. After an hour of hiking, you can choose to start your ascent or descend even deeper into the Truyère gorges.
The Bois des Baltuergues Via Ferrata is free access. It is a sporting activity accessible to all, but requiring good physical condition, suitable equipment and strict compliance with safety standards.
