Because they are designed for children, each trail ensures a joyful, rewarding family outing, where the children run from discovery to discovery. Even adults, we get caught up in the game and the magic operates, all immersed in a preserved and welcoming nature. The routes allow you to bring the little ones, from 3 years, from 1 km to 4,5 km. The paths are often in the shade and the slight unevenness preserves the little legs.
Sculptures, characters sketched in the trunk of a tree, cabins deep in the woods, dragon, all these unusual curiosities lead us, out of the blue, to discover a territory: the Carladez.

Each village tells its story, its particularities and offers a unique discovery, far from the classic interpretive trails. They awaken our imagination, fueled by all sorts of apparitions, invented by inhabitants-creators.
A story of creative inhabitants
For more than twenty years, a tenacious desire for creation has taken hold of the inhabitants of Carladez. In Brommat, Lacroix-Barrez, Mur-de-Barrez, Murols, Taussac and Thérondels, the villagers are keen to tell their country and its particularities. They spontaneously express a mind attentive to nature and open to the world. It is with a clever mix of poetry, do-it-yourself, recycling that generations of volunteers bring the 6 Sentiers de l'Imaginaire to life all year round.

The wooden house in Taussac
In the extension of the magic forest, enter this beautiful exhibition space dedicated to wood crafts, you can watch an educational film on the forest.
The 5 senses garden
Since the end of the Taussac Imaginary Trail, you will arrive in this charming educational garden, created in an old orchard. Throughout the year, children enjoy contemplating the flowers, smelling the aromatic plants, tasting all kinds of fruit, listening to the water circuits and the buzzing of the insects, touching the bark of the trees and contemplating a beautiful set of slate roofs from the highest point of the village.
Burée Mill Museum
On the trail of theimaginary water in Brommat, an essential stop: the discovery of a flour mill, its operation, its history. The Moulin de Burée brings together in a single building, the 1956th century mill at the flour mill (1976 – XNUMX). In summer, a volunteer from the imaginary trail will take you on an unforgettable visit.
The forge museum in Murols
“Fire and wind”, that's what it's all about in the small forge in Murols and the magic of matter that transforms and comes back to life. It is from here that the creatures of the imaginary trail were born, from old agricultural machinery, under the hands of the skilled sculptors of Murols. This is where Blaise the dragon keeps the flame alive.
50 years ago, the small forge closed its doors. Today, enthusiasts are bringing it back to life. You will find it intact, rich in the history of the blacksmith. A beautiful story of transmission for children and which will bring back memories to the elders.
